A NOTE FROM THE PRODUCER
A N D R E L I T T L E J O H N
Growing up in the Fire Baptized Holiness Church as a musician, I was blessed to be surrounded
by incredible artists, songwriters, and musicians. The knowledge that I gained in watching them
as well as other well-known gospel artists and musicians shaped my foundation in gospel music.
Their impartation, directly and indirectly, fostered and sparked my interest and approach to production.
As a new producer on the scene, I consider it an honor and privilege to present to you an authentic
FBH experience in worship. I believe that every Pastor, Minister of Music, Praise and Worship Leader,
and Choir Director will be able to pull songs from this album and teach their choir members, praise
teams, and congregants across the world. From beginning to end, you’ll have this album on repeat.
So get ready to buckle up and enjoy the "FBH Live!" experience.
Peace,
André Littlejohn

Luther Barnes Radio Interview
Sunday Nov 11, 2018
Sunday Nov 11, 2018
He's a legend in gospel music and he's my guest on Real Gospel! The Rev Luther Barnes joins me to discuss his humble beginnings in church, music, and brings it forward as we also discuss he's new project "The Favor of God" and his song, "Old Saints Praise"
Bio:
Award-winning gospel artist Luther Barnes began performing professionally when he was only nine years old. During his long career he has been part of a number of groups, released a long list of albums, had his songs featured in films, and even appeared in off-Broadway plays. He has many talents, including singer, songwriter, and pianist.
Luther Barnes was raised in North Carolina as part of a large extended family comprised of many musicians and vocalist. Another love the members shared was of the gospel, in both word and song. When Barnes was only nine, he became part of a group called the Barnes Juniors. It was formed by his father, Reverend F.C. Barnes. Other members were Luther's brothers and one of his uncles. Luther also took part in another family group, the Sunset Jubilarians, and then later in the Budd Gospel Choir. When time came for college, Barnes entered the St. Augustine College located in Raleigh, NC. There he earned a B.A. degree in Music Education. He used that training to become a music teacher at both his former junior high and high schools, and to give private piano and vocal lessons. He has also served as minister of music at his church, and director for On the Rise Youth Choir. Barnes' recording career began in 1987 with the completion of the album, See What the Lord Has Done, released under the Atlanta Records label. Between then and the year 2000, he recorded nearly 20 full-length gospel offerings. Some of the tunes listeners can sample from his albums include "It's a Good Thing to Be Chosen," "How Can You Walk on By," "He'll Come to My Rescue," "We Must Be Ready," "Sometimes I'm Burdened," "Lord I'm Waiting," and "So Satisfied."

Shekinah Glory Ministry Interview Ft Sherree Lee Director of A&R
Friday Oct 12, 2018
Friday Oct 12, 2018
This weekend the legendary Shekinah Glory Ministry are my guest on Real Gospel! I’ll speak with Sherree Lee Director of A&R and you’ll hear all about the history of the group and what’s the information behind their song “Cornerstone” All that and more on the fastest growing syndicated gospel show heard all over the world!
About Shekinah Glory Ministry
SHEKINAH GLORY MINISTRY: SURRENDER
A dozen years in, the Chicago-based ensemble known as Shekinah Glory Ministry (SGM) continues to dominate and set the standard for urban praise and worship music. They’ve made chants such as “Praise is What I Do” and “Jesus” universally known tunes that choirs around the globe sing every Sunday morning. With five RIAA gold and platinum record and video certifications behind them, this coterie of psalmists, minstrels and banner-wavers are poised to strike gold again with their fifth original CD, Surrender (Kingdom Records,) scheduled for a September 25, 2012 release.
Recorded this past April at its home church, Valley Kingdom Ministry International near Chicago, SGM delivered another set of soul-stirring original songs that kept the capacity audience on its feet most of the night with hands lifted towards the heavens in praise. The closing tune, “Surrender”, summed up the evening’s theme. SGM’s leader, Phil Tarver, with a heartfelt plea, prayed openly for God to break his spirit and give him a contrite heart prior to launching into the majestic declaration. “Lord, break me again until the tears pour out”, he whispered into his microphone. “Tonight the Lord says don’t throw in the white towel but wave the white flag,” he challenged the congregation as he implored it to look up and, “tell Him [God] I surrender to your purpose, to your plan, to your way.”
The thirteen-tracks all deal with some variation of concession to God’s will whether by turning one’s trials and tribulations over to Him on the up-tempo, Afro-Cuban seasoned “By Faith” or yielding to a call to worship on the dance-flavored, “Come On”. Aside from Tarver who leads three songs, there are several new SGM voices such as Brandon Alsberry, Joan Olander, Monique Miller, Jason Robinson and Danielle Nightingale Cargo. There is a guest appearance by veteran vocalist, Kim Stratton, on the riveting ballad “Broken” and the late Pepe Epting’s tenor soars on the reverential, “Peace for My World”.
Kingdom Records is a leader in African-American praise and worship music with hits such as Shekinah Glory Ministry’s 2001 breakthrough smash, “Praise is What I Do”. The million-selling SGM is not a choir. Instead, it’s a dynamic ensemble of psalmists, minstrels, and banner bearers who perform “under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. “ Their Hebrew name means “the glorified presence of God.” Their CDs Praise Is What I Do (#5 peak Top Gospel Albums) and Shekinah Glory Ministry Live (#3 peak Top Gospel Albums – 103 weeks on the chart) were both certified gold in 2005 and 2008 respectively. They also have three gold or platinum DVDs to their credit and their 2010 CD, Refreshed By Fire, debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart.
