This Willingboro, New Jersey native is a Gospel singer and radio host,
returns with her new single, “ Laying Them Down .” After her last
single entitled “ God’s Got My Back ” which climbed Billboard’s
Gospel Chart reaching Top 30 with its empowering message of
staying true to who you are. Her single release Champion reached
#15 on Billboard ’s Single Sales Chart. TaMyya J first showed up on
the radio scene with her hit single, “More Than You’ll Ever Know”
reaching number one on Gospel radio stations across the country.
After her hit “More Than You’ll Ever Know” , she set out on an
adventure, and spanned the globe traveling as a background singer
for the Multi-Award winning duo and TV hosts Erica and Tina
Campbell Mary-Mary for six years.
Now she is back in the studio creating music and hosting her own
weekly radio show N ever Missed A Beat which can be heard
nationwide on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
As a teen she WINNER 1st Place in McDonald’s Gospelfest
Awards - Youth Division .
Year 2017 she was Awarded Best Female New Artist in the
Gospel Excellence Awards .

Lawrence was a lead vocalist with Dr. Bobby Jones for more than 15 yrs performing to the delight of fans in Italy, England, Spain, Germany, and Japan to name a few. Thomison is also an ordained minister and counselor at Temple Church Nashville, TN where he also serves his calling in song.
Lawrence was the founder of the Music City Mass choir were you will remember him from his chart topping hit “You've Been Good to Me”.  His new single I Can Go To The Rock brings that same churchy feel and good hand clapping style that is sure to have you on your feet.
