Bobbi Lane Interview

The one and only Bobbi Lane is my guest on Real Gospel! She’s got an incredible story to tell about her life, her family, her faith, and her music. Not only will we talk about her amazing song, “I’m Saved” but she’s going to break some news on Real Gospel about her church and you’ll be the 1^st to hear it! 

Bio:

Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Bobbi Lane has been singing since an early age. Lane’s strong and powerful vocals, yet jazzy feel, create music with an indescribable uniqueness blending to her contemporary style. Bobbi has shared the stage with Ricky Dillard, Earnest Pugh, Deitrick Haddon, Kirk Franklin, Tamela Mann, Fred Hammond and many more. Bobbi is the daughter of Pastor and Ms. Abram Lane. Christian values and serving the Lord was instilled in her at an early age. Bobbi is the tenth, child of ten children. She has been reared in church and singing all her life. One thing that she desires of the Lord and that she will seek after, is to dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Taking all that has been placed within her to reconcile the lost unto Him.

After being commissioned and prepared, Bobbi formed a group with three of her sisters. The favor of the Lord was upon them and they were well received. They have ministered with groups such as the Mighty Clouds of Joy, Pastor Shirley Caesar, the Williams Brothers, Lee Williams, etc. Bobbi realized that she had a message of her own to release. She begin pursuing her soloministry. Bobbi has shared the stage with Ricky Dillard, Earnest Pugh, Deitrick Haddon, Kirk Franklin, Tamela Mann, Fred Hammond and many more. 

While all can enjoy her music; Bobbi strives to go beyond the four walls of the church to reach non-gospel listeners, as well as the younger generation. Bobbi has a heart and mission for young people. She believes that it is her destiny to sing the Lords praises to a dying generation. Her mission is to minister in song the message of salvation and to edify the body of Christ. Bobbi devotes a lot of her time to an organization called” The Gift of Giving”. The Gift of Giving was founded by Bobbi Lane, Minister Michael Taylor, in 2000. The organization focuses on helping children that is less fortunate than others.

When Bobbi is not ministering; she loves spending time with her husband and her two boys.
